My artist for my first tattoo explained that the pain is like someone scratching a mild sunburn. That always kinda stuck with me. At this point I find it kinda therapeutic.

Just got my first one last week and it was also on the forearm above my elbow 😁 was fine until the bat wing on the left near the bone, feels like a cat scratch but the cat won’t let go 😭 felt it before

My first tattoo experience was horrible. He dug me so deep I bled I passed out woke up puked. It took me 6 years to try again. And it didn’t hurt at all I was chilling on my phone. Crazy difference
