@beawesomebolt: 3 things I do before taking my dog to his annual vet visit. He always gets a bath before we go to make sure he’s not stinky for his visit. This also gives me a chance to thoroughly feel his body and make sure I don’t feel anything out of place that I need to discuss with the vet.  I write out any questions I might need to discuss with the vet. I hate when someone asks me do you have any questions and my mind goes blank and I miss asking something!  I make sure we have all health history on hand even though the vet should have records I like to bring our backup. I also like to take any vaccine stickers and put it in our files in case we ever need to show proof in an emergency situation and can’t get records from vet.  I bring our own muzzle, he does not bite but has anxiety at the vet so I’d rather he wear his own muzzle if they prefer him to wear one during a shot or blood draw. This helps him be a little more comfortable.
