Hi, i’m so sorry you are going through this! Have you heard of Dr. Centeno Schultz, he does what’s called a PICL procedure for people with CCI instead of a fusion. I had my first stem cell PICL done in March this year, and it has improved some of my cci symptoms. You should look into this, my sister had to get a C-0 through C-2 fusion, and we decided to go the non surgical route with me to see if it helps!

I was chastised by the Tennessee so called medical professionals who said that it just weakens the muscles but offers zero solutions or opportunities or even decent alternatives options and bedside manners which don’t exist here for the majority of “groups “

Did hers show up on a normal X-ray? They said I don’t have it but I have to manually pop my bottom vertebrae into the right place with my fingers because the literally slide to the side.

I’m sorry you’re going through this- if you haven’t already, I would highly suggest finding an upper cervical chiropractor that specializes in Atlas Orthogonal or Blair Technique!

I just stumbled on your videos. My daughter is 13 with Chiari, hEDS, and CCI (120° in neutral position, so they think worse on flex/ex). Dr. Greenfield is her NS, and Dr. Gerald Grant at Duke dx her instability. She’s stuck in a 15 day flare. Missing so much school. She did intensive PT back in 2022 that changed her life and helped so much. I can’t get answers from either NS.

Did a doctor fit you with that neck brace? I have cervical instability due to my hEDS and I have tried two different braces and I feel like none of them fit. I think I have a short neck, they all seem way too tall

hang in there I found out I had heds at 37 . I just had a spinal fusion at 38 c5-c7. good luck hang in there.

i had a fusion and it literally saved my life. only do it if the neuro symptoms get outta hand though. it can be rough not being able to move your spine 🙃

My daughter was dx and has similar story. We started using supplements and aloe Vera from the Cusuak protocol for EDS. Also oxygen chamber therapy has helped . Mold triggered my daughters.
