Cold and creamy, it’s the perfect homemade summer treat 😋☀️ Recipe for a 6” round cake: 1 quart of Dreyer’s Extra Triple Fudge Brownie frozen dessert 6” layer chocolate cake, chilled or frozen (I used part of a cake mix, but homemade works too!) Whipped Frosting: 2 cups cold heavy cream 1 cup powdered sugar 1/4 tsp vanilla extract Optional: Add fudge between the layer of Dreyer’s and cake (I used store-bought hot fudge but don’t heat it!) Decorate with chocolate chips, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, or whatever you like Instructions: *make sure you have ample freezer space before starting Let the frozen dessert sit out for 10-15 minutes until scoopable, but not melted. Line two 6” cake pans neatly with plastic wrap and distribute the frozen dessert evenly between the two. Cover with parchment paper and freeze until completely firm (at least 4-5 hours or overnight). Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until medium-stiff peaks form. Place the layer of cake on your cake board or turn table. Optional: Pipe a barrier of whipped frosting around the edge of the cake layer and fill with fudge. Freeze for 20 minutes before resuming. Carefully unmold the layers of Dreyer’s placing them on top of the cake layer. Frost very, very quickly in batches to keep the cake as cold as possible and pop it back in the freezer for 20 minutes at a time if it starts to soften too much.
