It seems clear the man was in the wrong, but taking his life wasn’t necessary. Non-lethal options, like a taser or even a disabling shot, could have prevented this outcome. Regardless of what led up to the incident, a human life was lost, and it could have been avoided. That’s what makes it so unfortunate.

I disagree or don’t see it. 3 Prong Test: Severity of the offense, Imminent Threat, Fight or Flight -Graham vs Connor. The Bad guy was still unarmed. No hindsight, this one is Totality of the Circumstances. Hope cop has a great attorney. Here’s proof why cops shouldn’t glorify their career choice.
