CLANCY PEDIATRICIAN TAKES STAND: In her many interactions with Lindsay Clancy over the years — including the day she killed her children — the family's pediatrician says she never saw signs of postpartum depression or psychosis. Dr. Lindsay Rosshirt was one of the last people to see Lindsay Clancy and her 5-year-old daughter, Cora, on the day Clancy killed her children and then attempted to take her own life on the night of January 24, 2023. Dr. Rosshirt testified Thursday that Lindsay Clancy brought Cora in for a routine check-up that morning, and everything seemed fine. Rosshirt explained that pediatric doctors are trained to spot signs of postpartum mental health issues in mothers and obligated to document them and refer the women to resources to help them through their struggles. However, Rosshirt clarified to Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, that she lacks expertise to say if it's possible for postpartum depression and psychosis sufferers to appear normal and function in everyday situations.
