@nur.sultanate_: The true founder of the era of the Valides Sultan, Nurbanu Sultan. The Valide of the valides. No valide had the respect, love, and absolute power that Murad III had for his mother. Nurbanu Sultan, for whom the Valide's apartments were built, where others later resided. She was the one who received an arrival ceremony befitting a Sultan, the first to have a mosque with two minarets, the first to be carried by her son, and the first and only one to be buried next to a Sultan. The one who was portrayed, and thanks to that, the existence of the sultanas was confirmed. The first Valide to hold political power over an empire ruled by men. Who would have thought that even the Grand Vizier and the Haseki of Sultan, would lose their positions for not venerating the Valide of the Empire? The real Power. #magnificentcentury #muhteşemyüzyıl #nurbanusultan #fyp #parati
