I mostly agree with this take, but it is in general not the people of America's fault entirely. the government keeps us complacent. our food is poison, our water is poison, our money bombs children, our Healthcare is dwindling. Canada pays more in taxes than us, sure, but guess what they have? free universal Healthcare, $15/hr minimum wage. did you know america is one of the few developed countries in the world that does not have free universal healthcare for its citizens? this is largely fault of the government allowing the money from big corporations control our country. people should complain more about the government and corporations than their fellow struggling American, and thats the real issue. "no one has fire anymore" they do, but the government has us all pointing it at each other instead of them.
