Pense nisso. ✝️📿🙏🏽 #fabioteruelfy #oracao #fy

Every aid is part of a conversation with your horse. Your leg, your rein, your seat and your voice are all ways of asking questions and listening to the answers. When you ask your horse to move away from your leg, or to move into a contact, give them the opportunity to answer. The moment they begin moving in the right direction, soften your aid. This is how horses learn to look for the right answer rather than simply react to pressure. Zhougie is straight out of starting and still very young and green but already we begin to apply these principals Clarity matters. Correct aids matter. But so does knowing when to take the aid away. If the pressure never changes, how does the horse know when they’ve got it right? The release is part of the conversation. It tells the horse, “Yes, that’s what I was asking.” And this is where we begin to develop a horse that wants to understand, that becomes more confident in their responses, and that learns to work with us rather than simply react to us. Let’s talk about correct aids, clarity and how we can make our conversations with our horses easier for them to understand.
