had the surgery. my advice in hind sight is skip if you can. did the surgery because of vision loss. eventually went blind in the right eye. cabergoline was not so bad. took it at night. the tiredness and fatigue is from the tumor. lived with it for 6 years.

please reconsider the surgery. you would have to go onto hormone replacement therapy etc. I have been on dostinex for over a year at first I was on 0.25mg twice a week for a certain period. then I went to 0.25mg every 5 or 7 days and now im on it every ten days. it takes your body a while to adjust to the meds. my levels have dropped drastically and my tumor has gone from a 20mm to a 9mm in less than a year
