Insults in the workplace shouldnโt be condoned. However, Iโve also seen instances where feedback is misinterpreted as an insult - so, delivery matters. From another perspective, I can only imagine what the boss must be thinking when the person recommending someone is a trusted member of staff who was aware that this same individual had openly insulted him, yet did nothing about it. It raises an interesting question about trust, loyalty and judgement in the workplace.
