SPOILER ALERT!! DONT SCROLL!! . . . . . For some, the ending is bad but for me i think it's actually really good. Not to sound like I enjoy angst or stuff like that but in my own opinion I think the ending is so meaningful. Which makes this anime one of my favorites despite not having season 2. Because despite everyone dying truly has no other outcomes. Their death is truly their fate and makes them live up to their code names. Many times I've thought about how they could survive and even added my oc but nothing changed. You truly can't change their fate because their deaths are the ones who makes them truly them. Hacker wants to find something fun and live somewhere without any need for hardship which is why when he helped the mc and was brought to his death, he felt happy because for once he felt happiness and fulfilled his desire. Brawler lived up to his name, despite being tragically betrayed, he still chose to fight 1v1 with that gov guy and they both came to a draw and lost their lives. Carrier did his last request and helped the twins, living up to his code name and sacrificing his life in the process. And the mc, the swindler lived up to her role and actually managed to swindle everyone in the city and provide the twins an opportunity to escape, her scene is so good or maybe I'm just used to glazing MC's. Anyways, just my opinion lol. Seriously, you'll bawl your eyes out in this anime.
