Kuro Sam ✨ :
When HSR used to be HSR

+.ella.+ :
it's actually crazy how there is a real documented downfall of HSR because i vividly remember this era of events and you never really saw people say "i miss the old HSR" we were all just experiencing it in the moment and enjoyed so much of it, but amphoreus truly changed everything. sure there are some great aspects of amphoreus, i think the world building was amazing, but it made this into an entirely different game.

when events had long stories and were fun, when story arcs lasted more than 1 version and when the AE trio was still a thing (nowadays we barely see dan heng and march talk or see march do much at all even tho theyre friends too), when our dialogue choices actually gave different outcomes(there were whole achievements for what type of dialogue you chose), when new areas had so many hidden quests and easter eggs and when the main stories didnt rely on tb being there at every moment. this genuinely isnt just a case of nostalgia i feel like everything has gotten worse, sometimes I look back at old posts on hoyolab and see how positively I talked about the story and my hopes for tb especially since they seemed so unique and interesting but it feels like 90% of that has just fallen away and become so generic💔 so sad seeing a game I had such high hopes for become so boring and bland
