its just for the pro plan and the improved astra cuts token usage by 30% already so it doesnt really make that much of a difference

No they aren’t. They have adjusted prices and increased token efficiency. You will be able to use the new models at a higher usage than the old usage limits.

I have always used Codex, but I had a project I was working on for three months that it could not figure out; I spent three months for nothing because Claude figured it out in two days, and Claude Code is ten times better.
