@innerbalancelab2: Getting 8 hours of sleep doesn’t automatically mean you’re getting healthy sleep. When you sleep matters too. Your body runs on a circadian rhythm that helps coordinate your sleep and wake cycle, and keeping a relatively consistent sleep schedule can support better sleep. That doesn’t mean you need to be asleep at 9 PM every night. But if your sleep schedule constantly shifts, you’re sleeping at completely different times each day, or you’re regularly staying up until the early morning and struggling to wake up, your sleep routine may be worth looking at. Think about: Your bedtime. Your wake time. How consistent they are. How much daylight you get during the day. How much light and stimulation you’re getting at night. And one important reminder: Don’t sacrifice sleep duration just to force an earlier bedtime. Most adults need at least 7 hours of sleep regularly, so the goal isn’t simply “sleep earlier.” It’s getting enough sleep while building a schedule that works well with your body and your life. If your sleep is consistently poor, you’re waking up exhausted, or you’re struggling to stay awake during the day, it’s worth looking beyond your bedtime routine and talking with a healthcare professional. Save this if your sleep schedule has been all over the place lately. 🤍 #sleephealth #bettersleep #fyp #sleeptips #wellnesstok

I literally can’t sleep before midnight and every time I have to wake up before 10 am I’m in agony… also between 11 pm and 3am is the only time that I like being alive

Sorry, but sleep research has shown people don't all have the same circadian rhythm. My circadian clock is set for sleep at around 2:30 and wake-up at around 9:30/10:00. It has always been like that. I wake up refreshed, sleep like a rock, and think and function better. When I was forced to change my rhythm to an earlier, standard work/school schedule, I was sluggish, dragged through the day, and didn't start thinking clearly until some time after lunch. I was definitely a night sentinel during the stone age, not a farmer. 😅

Not everyone is the same. I sleep the deepest until 10. Waking up too early, even with enough hours of sleeps makes me sick actually

People have different circadian rhythms, especially for different age groups. Night owls and mornings larks have scientifically been proven significant, to which they have slightly different circadian rhythms. Factors like light which determine melatonin release can be altered. What a crap post. 8 hours is 8 hours

Thats not true. My doctor told me there are two types the early Bird and the Nightowl. It is a physical basis. When I have to get up early in the morning for work, I experience health issues such as circulatory problems or migraines. I am the nightowl my Rhythm is to sleep from 1am-10pm and I am feeling good and can work 10 Hours no Problem.

Incorrect information... whatever cycle your in sleeping pattern wise, so long as you stay within it you're fine. This is an old wives tale / myth / outdated information from like 1990.
