These are absolutely the best things to use.......until you tighten it too much and can't get the bolt out because it just spins in the hole. These things suck

It works on thin metal. It does not work on things like an engine block that it shows in the beginning.

I wouldn't put those on an engine block they will not hold very well I would only do it for plastic items.

the harbor freight ones are better. a bit more pricey, but you don't worry about the bolt getting stuck from over tightening.

Yeah, that’s never gonna work in that first hole. It will fall out in minutes. Those are designed to go into sheet metal where it can expand out and it expands out like a washer on the back side
