Biggest gripe is the halogen turn signals and the fact that it’s not a turbo 6 or at least a hybrid man. Yes that V6 is bulletproof, but >$6 for premium, you’d wanna get more than 250 miles per tank.

Objectively if anyone is actually buying a Lexus for raw performance, they’re not buying an IS350. It’s not aimed to be a performance car, you can go get the LC, or any of the older F Sports for that. If performance is the main thing a consumer is seeking from a Lexus, they should consider another brand like BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc.

You can easily go to the store and buy Halogen turn signals bulbs. But when the brake lights go out you have to pay $1000 at the dealer for new tail lights because they want you to buy the whole damn thing.

Love everything about my is500. The taillight is something I can always upgrade with aftermarket so not an issue for me

If you want to make the 2GR-FE, just put in a supercharger and tune it with the same horsepower and torque with the Lotus Emira V6 SE and your good.

i have a 2017 and i couldnt imagine paying the price of a brand new one when you cam get pretty much the same thing in an earlier generation, the only real change is infotainment but thats like a 400 dollar fix

Admittedly I bought an M340i while searching for a good IS350. Unfortunately my Cars & Bids auction offer was accepted at a price I wouldn’t turn down. Love the 340i but for a daily, but I’d rather not have turbos and maintenance issues. Could stand less horsepower and flashiness. Will likely wait for an IS500 to be under $40k and trade up.
