I opened a couple cards at 0% balance transfer for a period of time. Was able to pay off credit card debt faster. Now can I cancel those cards without hurting my credit since there paid off?

Many years back, when I was in college, my locally-owned bank was acquired by BoA. Not long afterwards, I read that they used a phone queue system that placed you in line based on your account balance. This was before internet banking where calling was more common and warranted. When I read this, I medicate switched banks and swore them off forever. 🤷♀️
