A lot of the newer designs have a problem where there's no visual depth, like for venti you can clearly see every single detail of his design and nothing gets lost in each other, whereas the new designs lack depth so everything blends into one vague look imo

I feel the recent character designs have lost their creativity, it's good but it just feels like the same exact design again and again. It's just missing the impact, and I feel like the last nation that doesn't feel like a copy and paste was sumeru or Natlan. Nod-kri and Snezenaya left dull when it came to the character designs , again its good , but not unique.

Everytime when looking at venti makes me comfortable and feel so homy for some reason, all the mondstadt characters too, in MY perspective, they’re all so comfort characters, mostly venti, he just give that you can rest with me vibe, and his lore is one of the best for me

his design is from a time where hoyo still tried to keep their designs culturally relevant and unique to the characters individual agency.. it's really unfortunate to have witnessed the gradual deterioration of the game overall after cai haoyu and yu-peng chen stepped down. i truly miss the old genshin 🙁🙁🙁
