Simulanka should have been permanent imo, it was an important part of durin's character and reducing it to just a text for the paralogism mission was a bad decision

Its actually crazy how ppl dont even know he is not rhiendottir’s son when we had an entire location made by mage A and have been told the entire adventure about her. It’s been a long time since simulanka but i still remember it as one of the best event in my mind even tho im a chronic dialog skipper

Great explanation, i'm not sure why ppl are still upset about this outcome when, the Monstadt quest told us that Durin was gone, his counciousness is dead and what remained of him was just the abyss taking his wish and twisting it into a vengeful one, playable durin is Simulanka's and Anya's creation. Og Durin is gone and they couldn't do much w the way fate works in Teyvat.

am I allowed to say I get annoyed at the people who call durin other characters' son? I understand if they say wanderer is his dad, that's fine...but they're calling him just ANYONE'S child now and it's usually for the sake of ships. "durin is scaramona/kazuscara/scaralumi's son!" like, no, he's Anya's son so stop trying to erase her out of the picture for the sake of ur ship. saying it for fun or as a joke is okay, but it gets to the point where they forget who is his ACTUAL mom. kazuha is not his dad, nor is mona his mom, nor is faruzan...he's not anyone's but Anya's baby

Honestly I had so much more to say, so many details I didn’t add because I wanted the video to be short and sweet, very ‘to the point’ so it’s easy for people to focus instead of having the urge to scroll away. I genuinely hate when people mischaracterize Durin so I hope this was educational and clears people’s doubts.

Everyone taking the "Calling durin a characters' son" as incorrect way too serious, It's only just because Mondstadt's Durin who he was infused with was not Anya's But Rhinedottir's, The Durin we know, Durin is Anya's Creation, In Easier Terms, calling him an abbysal dragon is like calling them an insecurity or mistaking them for someone else for someone bad just because they have the same name, Obviously Calling him The Son of Any other Character as a headcanon or satirically is not at all bad, It also wouldn't entirely be wrong if we consider that there's still some bit of Mondstadt Durin In his person but not present in his personality, just his body, It's still Anya's Durin with Rhinedottir's Donor parts Lmao

I think people some people think that he’s Rhinedottir’s son bc paimon herself called him and Albedo brothers, which I don’t personally like to be honest, Albedo is Rhinedottir’s creation while Durin isn’t so calling them brother will only confuse some fans and doesn’t make sense to me
