Some empires hold on to their influence long after their contributions cease to justify it. It seems more like we’re watching old empires decline. We’re still the new guy on the block, living in a time when the principles that founded this country allow the average person to thrive in ways previous generations could only imagine.

And even when Trump finally exits, there are still thousands, if not millions, of like-minded bigots, misogynistic, amoral, greedy people to keep the horrible agenda going. So you're right, no other country will trust the US anymore.

The problem is not even the level of corruption Trump’s administration has. It’s the loss of all allies through the relentless bullying, tariffs, threats and insults. The US is effectively out of NATO. Nobody will trust the US for decades. We’re all developing independent satellites, payment systems, software, cloud services, military, supply chains, trade partners. There’s no going back from that

💯💯💯 True. The US Empire should have had a slow decline but Trump/GPP and Social Media has shown us the US “principles” of “freedom and democracy” that it brings to the world. The biggest winnner are the Socialist governments. Love it
