Bridges, who joined Kohen’s father Daveon Williams and other grieving families in St. Paul for the March for Stolen lives, said the officers responding to a shoplifting call over an alleged diaper theft were informed three times that there was a baby present before Foster opened fire, including when Kohen’s mother Vellesiya Wiley held the boy up to show him to police. No charges have been filed against Vellesiya Wiley or the driver of the vehicle, who was also injured in the shooting. Demands for the release of police and surveillance video are growing across the US, after Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office announced Monday it had determined Foster's use of force was justified — meaning he will not face criminal charges for killing the baby.
