I understand why the double standard exists. In order for a man to truly “sleep around,” he needs to acquire some degree of status. Whether that be through his money, power, attractiveness, etc. For a woman, it requires virtually no effort at all. With that being said, I do think that men (particularly younger men in their twenties) tend to be too unreasonable and impractical when it comes to this. Expecting a 23 year old woman to be a virgin or only have 2 partners is simply out of touch with reality

I mean the thing is, women can hold men to the same standard...if you see a man with a high body count, you can steer clear of him...actually a good majority of men have low body counts and/or never even been with a woman. so you have plenty of options to have a guy thats never been with a woman
