Protip for the dog problem...use a no dig fence to create a small separate area of the yard JUST for the dog to go to the bathroom and train them with positive reinforcement to always go there to potty. Keeps the burn spots from being all over the yard and keeps the kids from accidently stepping in a 💩 while playing. Makes cleanup quick too because it's all in one spot.

Apparently you can buy special rocks to put in the dogs water bowl it stops the discoloration I’m not sure if you get the in the US we have them in Australia.
