I love how Melanie has never been scared to say how it is.

avo 🎀 :

They speak out about it while actively contributing to it tho

⋆.˚✮🎧Auntie_August🎧✮˚.⋆ :

genuinely wish they both weren't bad people

thisisit :

Yeah, Katy Perry talks about it because she’s part of it. 😂Have you seen her concerts or behavior lately? Like the past 2-3 years? Maybe the old Katy Perry was different but she’s definitely a part of it now.

𝙻𝚎𝚗𝚗𝚢 ✩ :

Don’t forget Marina and The Diamonds

hatchling_hades :

Love them both but if I’ve learned anything just because their aware of the situation doesn’t mean they aren’t apart of it

Don't forget Aurora, Paris Paloma, The Florence+the Machine they all also talk about the world we live in, not fully dystopian but still explaining how we live. I mean Aurora literally has a song about how we cannot eat money. They aren't pop but they point out so many world problems which is why they aren't as popular or only have 1-3 songs that are well known.
