Someone said that I’m too permissive to my kids. My response. “I don’t own my children. I am merely a vessel for their existence. There are rules, boundaries and consequences in my house” him “your kid got a puppy coz she wanted a puppy” me “no, she earned the puppy and she continues to earn the privilege of having that puppy.” This was the same thing said when I was a manager coz I let my team take time off after they reached at exceeded their sales target. My point. If u need to shout “I am king” either u r not the king or trust that uve earned the right to be king
