I understand exactly what she's saying. The rain wasn't falling that hard for this kind of flooding that we are expecting right now. Apparently, the rain was falling in the hill that's why the river came down so heavy. I live near a gully and I was surprised how heavy and quick the water came down. It was unexpected for me even though I was aware of the flash flood watch.
