I have a wedding hair story!! I went to my mom's stylist a week before my wedding and asked for a basic trim. she parted my hair in the middle and when I told her I have a side part, she told me "I dont need to know where you part your hair to cut it". it was the worst haircut ive ever had. I thought i was going to be saved by my sister in law to be who did hair and would be doing my hair on my wedding... she called 3 days before my wedding and said she wasnt coming. I called my local salon at 9pm SOBBING. they called everyone but they were all busy, except the assistant who didnt have her full certs yet. I have her a chance and it was the beat decision ever. I watched her get her certs and followed her to 3 salons. I will never see another stylist

I went to a new stylist the day before my bridal shower. It was horrendous. I booked the only appointment with the only other stylist I could find near me with an appointment the next morning. I kept her for the next 7 years until I moved away.

I literally had a client do this to me last week. Called in very late in the day to get her hair cut last minute, She was new to the salon, and said that she wanted like 5 inches off, just a solid cut. I was able to juuust squeeze her in but I explained that I wouldn’t have time for a full glam blowout she was fine with that. And I’m washing I’m asking what she was doing for the weekend and said she was flying to India for her wedding 😅😅 girl how???? I would be in conniptions over my hair for like the 6 month prior

I had a client come get a fullllllll vivid make over on her hair once and at the end when we were done she was saying how much she loved it and how she was so excited for her wedding in 2 days 😂 she said she avoided telling me cuz she didn’t want to put pressure on me 💕

as a student ive had a client come in the DAY OF her wedding for a highlight retouch and tone. when I finished her foils you better believe i had a panic attack in the dispensary 😭 i am really proud of myself she left so happy there were tears and she sent someone to the school to send me a piece of her cake :)

the hair stylist was halfway through cutting all my husbands waist length hair off when he casually mentioned he was getting married that same afternoon. I turned up to a completely different looking man at the ceremony.
