$3,000 suit, and he didn't think to fly the shaman in himself? I respect the ritual, but not the process. That father was actively trying to paralyze his daughter for life. If you're a father, and your beliefs require a ritual before a procedure (and especially if you have a whole lot of money), then you move heaven and earth to get that ritual done TODAY so your daughter can walk again tomorrow. You don't sit around making excuses, and smoking a cigar, until a complete stranger drops the solution in your lap.
