@buzzingforhorror: AN ICONIC FILM 🎃 48 years ago today, horror history was made. John Carpenter’s ‘Halloween’ premiered on October 25, 1978, introducing the world to Michael Myers, Laurie Strode, and one of the most influential slashers ever made. With Jamie Lee Curtis delivering an iconic performance, Carpenter’s unforgettable score, and a masked killer who turned ordinary suburban streets into places of pure terror, the film helped set the standard for modern horror. Made on a budget of around $300,000, ‘Halloween’ became a massive success and launched a franchise that continues to haunt audiences nearly five decades later. Some horror movies are classics, but ‘Halloween’ helped define the genre. #Halloween #MichaelMyers #JamieLeeCurtis #JohnCarpenter #HorrorMovies
