Replying to @rabitoye #reply #response #explained #Recipe #food #yum #howitsmade #cooking #baking #breakfast #women #fyp #explorepage #homemade Freezer-Friendly Biscuit Sandwiches Ingredients •	2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour •	1 tablespoon baking powder •	½ teaspoon baking soda •	1 teaspoon salt •	1 tablespoon sugar (optional, but helps with browning) •	½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter or shortening, cubed or flaked (if using regular butter, omit the salt) •	1 cup milk or buttermilk, very cold Instructions 1.	Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2.	Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Alternatively, use a food processor with the dough attachment. 3.	Cut in butter: Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the cold butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs (pea-sized pieces of butter should still be visible). Alternatively use food processor - if rubbing butter in with your hands, pop it in the freezer for 10min before moving on to step 4. 4.	Add milk: Pour in the cold milk and stir or pulse gently until just combined (don’t overwork the dough). 5.	Shape biscuits: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, gently pat it into a ¾-inch thick rectangle, and fold it over itself a couple of times to create layers. Roll or pat back to ¾-inch thickness. 6.	Cut biscuits: Use a floured biscuit cutter or a knife to cut out biscuits. Place them on the parchment lined tray not touching. 7.	Bake for 12 minutes. To Freeze for Breakfast Sandwiches 1.	Let the biscuits cool completely. 2.	Slice them in half and layer with your desired fillings ( eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, or ham). 3.	Wrap each sandwich in parchment paper then store in a freezer-safe bag. 4.	To reheat: Microwave from frozen wrapped in parchment paper 90 seconds on 30% power, flip over, 1 minute full power. Let cool. Enjoy with jam.
