I've seen quite a few young creators posting about not voting because it's not going to affect them making their money and the comments were absolutely insane. basically FCK everything and everyone else as long as I continue getting what "I" need. not realizing that this is a chance to gain some control in our government and get these rich, old, rascist ahs politicians out of ofc. that's the only reason to vote. even if a vote get cancelled out, still worth it. if we don't, then we can't complain. there's shyt already in place to come into effect against us. I'm outside of the US and I already sent in my ballot. this is an all hands on deck situation.

People of color were required to pay to register and vote anywhere from 1-3 dollars 🥲 that would be 11-34 dollars today. I will never understand why people won’t vote FOR FREE today when your ancestors probably spent their last penny to vote so you could for free
