Lana BanAnderson Artist 🇨🇦 :
I saw that interview on David Letterman and haven’t liked Tom Cruises since. Instant ick.

It’s funny cause him and Jim Carrey never seemed real to me. Like fake characters or maybe a caricature of a real person.

Jabron Lames :
"Intense friendliness with nothing behind the eyes" is particularly fascinating because it implies there is a whole lot of emotion there but none of it is directed at you, it is directed past you, through you, in spite of you even, at a spot on the wall more interesting than you because you are not the person behind the eyes. Real psychopath level shit I must admit.

Can you imagine if Tom actually played the roll. - I don’t think Tom ever played a psycho before but god damn does he fit the bill 😂

So what you’re saying is…is that without tom, the movie wouldn’t have been as good?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I absolutely love that, aside from the name, I have no idea who tom cruise is or what he’s been in or what he’s known for. Same with every other mainstream celebrity 😂

Tom appears in the book. as does Bono. While Tom's appearance was harmless, the name drop could have symbolic meaning. bono's appearance however was much more 'he is the devil like I am' esque.

I used to think Tom cruise was a terrible actor, but to act normal in interviews for him must be incredibly hard

if y'all think this is crazy, watch clips of him from a 90s movie called Magnolia, he plays his role a little too well!
