My mum died a few weeks before my son was born. I respond to every cry, I hold him as much as he wants & I comfort him when he’s upset. I know EXACTLY what it feels like to need your mum and realise she isn’t coming. I did not bring him into the world just to abandon him.

My daughter was the clingiest child of the bunch and I always took it with a positive perspective. Now shes my sidekick at anything I’m doing. And for the last almost 5 years we do monthly dad/daughter dates. Worth every penny!
