60 degrees is diabolical. That’s frigid. But as someone who sits in my car in 110 degrees for “lizard time” so my bones can warm up after being in AC for extended periods of time, I understand it’s a me problem 😅😂

I love the fact that they actually found a way to make everyone comfortable. That’s kind of impressive.

Perimenopause and menopause should have recognised accomodations.

in Rhode Island, menopause and perimenopause are absolutely covered under the Disability Act, they actually just signed that part into law just a year or two ago

As someone who is going through perimenopause, I think this is fantastic. It really is hell on earth and you don't really know abt it until you are in the thick of it.

For the Canadians, 70°F is about 21°C and 60°F is about 15(!!!!!)°C. I’m always hot, but 15 is just too cold.

I've worked in an office connected to a warehouse. You have to keep the air on auto around 70 and never turn it off. It takes far too long to get to the right temp with those high ceilings.

As someone who’s had hormonal hot flashes since puberty, invest in (several) high end portable fans. It’s sooooo worth it!

I have dysautonomia. Some of that is I can’t regulate my body temperature properly. I require a cooling vest. There are options if you get too hot.

could it be argued not making accommodations for peri/menopause is sex based discrimination as these problems only would impact those born female at birth and all those born female will experience it?

I run cold and I inherited the desk that's right in front of the a/c. Supposedly we are getting our space remodeled; I asked my boss for a desk not under the a/c after the remodel 🤣
