@browneyedgurl801: Tesla just cancelled the Cybertruck in two entire countries. Reservation holders in Australia and New Zealand got the bad news by email on Friday. Tesla said plans to build the truck for their markets are discontinued. Their reservations will be cancelled. Every payment will be fully refunded. Some of these customers reserved almost seven years ago. Tesla apologized for the disappointment. It is also offering a small sweetener. Cancelled buyers who purchase a Model 3 or Model Y instead get one year of Full Self-Driving free. Tesla gave no reason beyond careful consideration. The Cybertruck has already vanished from Tesla's Australian website. It is a sharp retreat for Musk's most polarizing vehicle.
