@thealvinth_wonder: Thierry Henry really asked Lamine Yamal if the Kopa Trophy was the award he "really wanted most" on live television, in front of the whole world, while the kid just lost the Ballon d'Or. That is genuinely one of the most disrespectful questions I've ever heard at an awards ceremony. You don't ask a main contender if he's happy with the consolation prize. Henry is not getting a presenting gig ever again, and he deserves it. Yamal handled it like a king though. When asked, he replied, "All of them," and then gave credit to Pau Cubarsí. At 19 years old, he showed more class than some grown men in the industry. You could see it in Lamine Yamal's face as Harry Kane accepted that trophy. He knows his time is coming, but tonight wasn't his night. And honestly? He knows why. @ THE BALLON D'OR HAS REGAINED CREDIBILITY. Harry Kane won with 73 goals across all competitions, strong Champions League knockout performances, and Bundesliga domination. The man has put together one of the most absurd individual seasons in football history, and they finally rewarded it. No politics, no narratives, just pure numbers. He is the first Englishman to win it. #BallonDor #ThierryHenry #LamineYamal #HarryKane #FootballAwards
